Delhi is the biggest metropolitan city with fast-growing technology. Delhi is having the largest ever metro route having some interesting and hidden facts which might be not known to you. So here we go with some of the facts:  

1.       Delhi covers almost the whole Delhi region including NCR i.e. Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Noida and Gurugram.

2.       There are 8 colors of metro route consisting of colors: pink, green, blue, magenta, red, yellow, orange, and violet(upcoming brown line)
3.       The discount fare is applicable from before 8 am, 12pm-5pm and after 9pm.
4.       Starting range of metro is from Rs.10 and the highest is Rs.60.

5.       Janakpuri metro station is having the largest escalator.
6.       Delhi Metro provides transport services after de-boarding the train. it gives facilities like bus and by cycle rides.

7.       Pink line i.e. from Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar is the largest route covering approx. 59 km.
8.       The pink line has up to 39 stations along 9 interchanging metro stations.
9.       Since 2009, DMRC increased the fares 2 times in 2017. first fare changes was made in May 2017 and the second changes was made in October 2017


10.   The highest metro station having height of 23.6 m is Dhuala Kuan, consisting of 7 stored building.
